Summary

Banksia Palliative Care Service, located in Heidelberg, is a community-based specialist palliative care organisation providing services to people with life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Our clients are based in the local council areas of Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea. About you

You will:

• The successful candidates will have:
• Completed a Degree in General Nursing and have current professional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Have a minimum of three months recent experience (in the last three years) in Palliative Care/Oncology/Haematology nursing within a community or hospital-based service. 
• At least five years of nursing experience.
• Strong team orientation with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
• The ability to work a flexible roster which may include on call overnight.
• Hold an unrestricted driver's license, have access to a car and be willing to use it for work when requested (with reimbursement).
• Permanent Australian residency.
