Facing end-of-life decisions for yourself, or a loved one can be a difficult and emotional experience, which is why we aim to offer a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQI community to access support and guidance.
Our resources aim to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions about palliative care.
Together with PCV, the Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council (AGMC) has produced three short videos which provide an introduction to palliative care for members of the Australian LGBTQIA+ multicultural and multifaith community.

'My Choice of Care' Research Project
Further to the above resources, PCV and AGMC have collaborated on a research project which seeks to foster equity and inclusion among palliative care service providers for multicultural, multifaith LGBTQIA+ communities.
Delving into the experiences and challenges faced by these communities when accessing palliative care, the project focused on developing strategies to enhance the care that these services can provide.
The results of the project have been published in a document entitled ‘My Choice of Care: Palliative Care from Multicultural and Multifaith LGBTIQA+ Perspectives and Experiences’. The report was launched on July 18, 2023, at Melbourne’s Multicultural Hub.
