Welcome to the PCV National Palliative Care Week Hub for all things National Palliative Care Week 2024. Here you will find up-to-date information and resources for this year’s campaign.
National Palliative Care Week will run from Sunday 19 May to Saturday 25 May, providing a platform for Australians to connect with ‘the people at the heart of quality palliative care’ – the doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, carers, volunteers and many others.
Through a vibrant social media campaign, and a series of local events including our marquee PCV Palliative Care & Aged Care Conference, we aim to deepen public understanding of palliative care and its importance.
This year, National Palliative Care Week coincides with significant reforms across the health, aged care and disability sectors. It presents a unique opportunity for us to highlight the valuable contribution that palliative care is making and advocate for further improvements in the sector.
NPCW Events around Victoria
We invite professionals and volunteers from the palliative care and aged care sectors to join us at our key event during National Palliative Care Week, the PCV Palliative Care & Aged Care Conference: Partnership in Action.
