The Southern Metropolitan Regional Palliative Care Consortium (SMRPCC – the Consortium) is an alliance of palliative care services in the Southern Metro Region of Melbourne with the aim to collaboratively implement the Victorian End of Life and Palliative Care framework in the region. The consortium is active in a number of areas including aged care, disability, progressive neurological conditions and workforce development. Peninsula Home Hospice (PHH) acts as fund holder and employer for the Consortium. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead the Consortium team, manager operational activities and strategically plan for initiatives across the region to achieve the implementation of the Strengthening Palliative Care policy, on a 12-month fixed term contract. Strong stakeholder management skills will ensure your success as you support a number of groups, committees and members and other health and community service networks to collaboratively implement the Victorian End of Life and Palliative Care Framework in the region.

Selection Criteria

What you will bring:

  • Solid leadership and stakeholder management skills 
  • Tertiary qualifications in a health related discipline 
  • Experience in the health system, particularly in palliative care 
  • Project management and implementation of key initiatives
