Are you a palliative care nurse that has a passion for palliative care and supporting palliative care patients in their own home with telephone advice?

We are seeking a registered Clinical Nurse Specialist with proven experience and clinical expertise and management in palliative care for the After-Hours Telephone Triage Service. The primary role of this position is to provide telephone triage and clinical advice to patients and their carers in the Victorian community. This casual role works shifts on the following days/times: (Monday to Fridays 1730-2130 and PH/Weekends 1300 - 2030).

Selection Criteria

Qualifications, Skills and Experience sought for this role:

• Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• A higher degree qualification in palliative care or education
• Excellent telephone triage and communication skills
• Ability to use electronic medical records
• Have worked clinically in palliative care for at least 5 + years ideally across different health care delivery settings
• Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
