Eastern Palliative Care Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation that provides home-based specialist palliative care to clients and their carers living within the Eastern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. This role is suitable for a vibrant, energetic person who enjoys slotting in and helping out. Your role is to support various administrative roles such as Team Administrator, Intake Admin, CIP (Reception), Client Resource Coordinator, and other admin roles within the organisation. 

Delivering a service in a framework of Value Based Health Care is an essential part of working at EPC and you will be expected to positively contribute to the maintenance of an environment that promotes personal integrity, respect, safety and security for all individuals within the team, for our clients, and wider organisation.

Please note this role does not have set regular days or hours and will vary depending on the cover required.

Selection Criteria

To be successful, you will have:

  • Qualification in office administration or other relevant experience essential 
  • Proven experience in a busy administrative role essential (preferably in the healthcare area) 
  • Experience in an office environment with a high number of calls coming in 
  • Advanced Data Management and computer skills, including Excel 
  • High level of organisational and time management skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to prioritise workload is essential 
  • Ability to recognise sensitivity at work and maintain privacy 
  • Ability to jump into someone else’s role while they are on leave
