Eastern Palliative Care Ltd (EPC) is the specialist community based palliative care service for the Eastern Region of Melbourne. We support people with a terminal / life limiting illness who have complex symptoms whether they be physical, psychosocial, emotional or spiritual.

You can navigate the dynamic nature of the role and require minimal supervision to manage your workload. You will possess strong time management and a high level of organisation skills, communicate confidently and have the ability to think broadly and prioritise well while working under pressure.
Reporting to the CEO, the Strategic Projects Lead will lead the coordination of multiple strategic projects and provide support to project sponsors on existing or planned projects and the change management involved in each project.
Selection Criteria
Requirements of the role:
- Qualifications or experience in Project Management or Change Management essential.
- Experience in palliative care clinical service delivery highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering business, service model and culture change projects, demonstrating a people first approach.
- Understanding of Value Based Health Care principles and framework.
- Organisational change management experience in the healthcare sector is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with an attention to detail and experience in writing business cases/ submissions or grant applications.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data and translate complex information into simple messages for a variety of audiences.
- Proven experience in coaching leaders through change, including the ability to deliver competing priorities under tight timelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a high level of independence, autonomy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality documents, write compelling proposals and influence outcomes.
- Lead the execution of change and communication plans, embedding the changes and ensure they stick.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
